It’s why I haven’t and it’s why I groan every time I see some kind of “follow your dreams!” and “live your life!” and “travel while you’re still young!” message. It’s nice and all but it’s like waving a piece of cake in my face saying, “This cake is so good you should TOTALLY try some,” BUT I’M ALLERGIC TO IDK SUGAR OR SOMETHING.

if you leave your life now you’d have to start from the bottom of the bottom. not the easiest thing in the world but not impossible. will you be willing to deal with all the pain, the shame, the regret, the possibility that you might or might not end up as well as you wanted to?
